Volunteers sorting donated canned goods, bread, boxed pasta, and rice into cardboard boxes at a food pantry

In-Kind Gifts

Donated goods help VTC meet practical needs across our housing programs, Food Pantry, and campus. Furniture, household items, food, and other essentials can directly benefit Veterans and their families or support VTC through approved community partnerships.

What We Need

Practical Gifts. Meaningful Impact.

When Veterans move into permanent housing, donated furniture and household essentials can help make a new space functional, comfortable, and welcoming.

Food and pantry contributions also help VTC respond to everyday needs throughout the year. Because storage space and program needs change, all donations should be coordinated with our team before drop-off.

More Ways to Give Goods

Some donations may be better suited for one of the options below. Review each program before delivering items to confirm current guidelines, hours, and accepted goods.

The VTC Food Pantry relies on community donations to provide groceries, pantry staples, household essentials, and pet food to eligible Veterans, active-duty service members, and their families.

  • Canned proteins, vegetables, fruit, and soups
  • Rice, pasta, cereal, and boxed meals
  • Shelf-stable snacks and pantry staples
  • Dry and canned dog and cat food
