VTC offers emergency, transitional, and permanent supportive housing for Veterans at different stages of need. Each program combines a safe place to live with personalized guidance, benefits navigation, and practical resources that support long-term stability.
Stable housing gives Veterans room to focus on health, relationships, and their goals. At VTC, every home comes with individualized case management and the resources to handle immediate needs and plan ahead.
Our options run from short-term emergency stays to transitional and permanent supportive homes — each designed to meet Veterans where they are and prepare them for greater independence.
While every housing program is different, residents can count on consistent care, clear guidance, and a respectful environment.
Funded through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, our HCHV emergency housing program offers a safe, short-term place for Veterans who need immediate support. During their stay, residents work with staff to address urgent needs and prepare for the next appropriate housing option.

Our Grant Per Diem program provides Veterans and eligible family members with structured housing, case management, and access to supportive services while they work toward permanent housing. Available tracks are designed to respond to different levels of need.

VTC has completed four fully accessible accessory dwelling units on our campus, creating safe, thoughtfully designed homes for Veterans with mobility needs.
Now we’re building more, so additional Veterans can find affordable housing that supports independence and long-term stability. Each new unit helps close the Central Coast’s shortage of accessible homes while keeping residents connected to VTC’s programs and community.
